Ciao a tutti, il mio alternatore del 1976 127 Special ha qualche problema, non ha funzionato per un po. La luce dell alternatore GEN si accende con una luce fioca e quando viene accelerata diventa più comprensibile. Credo che i pennelli interni dell'alternatore siano ormai consumati. ... Mi dispiace, non parlo italiano. ... I would like purchase a new alternator for my 1976 127 Special 903cc. I would prefer an alternator with more output amperage than the original alternator, to power more electrics. If you know what alternator is compatible with the 1976 127 Special 903cc, and where I can purchase a new alternator, I would very much appreciate your assistance. Grazie molto!

HI!!! From how I understand it the problem should be the voltage regulator .... You could try to change that first .... Otherwise I would see if the 1050cc or 1300cc diesel has more amperage ... Look on ebay . -

I only have an electrical diagram for the Fiat 127 1971–1974 with a generator
Does anyone have a wiring diagram for a Fiat 127 903cc with an alternator, with the wiring color codes? — I need a wiring diagram for the Fiat 127 903cc with an alternator that has an external voltage regulator, AND a wiring diagram for the Fiat 127 903cc with an alternator that has an internal voltage regulator. Hello Kat-O; it's very easy: leaves disconnected the old connector (from the external voltage regulator). On the new alternator you just have to connect the positive big cable by making a jumper between the starter motor and the new alternator. At the end you have to connected the wire that cames from the speedmeter (charging problems light), and the work is end.Enjoy your job! . -

Questo è lo schema da manuale officina Fiat. Si riferisce alla 127 terza serie (mk3 prodotta da dicembre 1981 al 1983) con alternatore a regolatore integrato. Purtroppo non è a colori ma dovrebbe capirsi ugualmente come vanno i collegamenti:
This is the Fiat workshop manual layout. It refers to the 127 third series (mk3 produced from December 1981 to 1983) with integrated regulator alternator. Unfortunately it is not in color but it should be understood as well as the connections:
